The Great Commission is Faith Comes By Hearing’s Vision

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. – Matthew 24:14

Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. – Philippians 2:9-11

The Obstacle

More than 70% percent—approximately 5.7 billion—of the world’s population are oral communicators. Half of the world’s population cannot read well enough to understand the Bible, and 1.5 billion do not have access to the Gospel in their language. Of the 7,000+ languages spoken, more than 4,000 do not have Scripture in their language yet.

Because of this, we focus our efforts on recording and providing Audio and Video Scriptures in these remaining languages.

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. – Romans 10:17

This audacious task can be completed. Faith Comes By Hearing partners with more than 700 organizations and translation agencies to record and freely provide the Gospel to every nation, tribe, and tongue through whatever means possible via physical devices and digital technology. And we are resolute, determined, and downright tenacious about our goal. So much so that we, along with the global translation community, have identified 2033 as the year Bible poverty will be no more!

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. – Habakkuk 2:14

So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. – Isaiah 55:11

The Opportunity

‍Vision 2033 could not be accomplished without God granting us the authority to do so. Our obedience to the Great Commission is only possible because Jesus has given us everything we need to follow His command. As we obey and respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading and presence in our lives, we become an expression of God, that which is love. And to sincerely love our neighbor is to share the Good News.

Through His provision, we connect with like-minded people who have a strong desire for others to know and experience Jesus Christ through the Gospel.

The Call

‍We need the community of believers—the body of Christ—to help make Vision 2033 a reality. A faithful prayer or gesture of giving can result in multitudes across the globe hearing, receiving, praising, proclaiming, and celebrating the Good News of our Redeemer.

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people. – Titus 2:11

You enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest. – Isaiah 9:3

The Outcome

God desires all men to be saved. Billions of people have yet to hear His Word, but He has equipped us with the means to change that. Right now, people across the world yearn for hope. They are searching for answers. And we are blessed to know the Truth. We live in desperate times, but evil has no power over those who cling to Jesus’ promise. Through the Word and leading of the Holy Spirit, they too can be transformed.

Time is of the essence.
