The Seed Company

This world leader in Bible translation develops and manages translation projects led by national translators who already understand the language and culture of their people. Founded in 1993 by Wycliffe USA, The Seed Company’s mandate is to accelerate Bible translation by partnering with like-minded organizations, like Faith Comes By Hearing, that use completed Scriptures for immediate impact.

Since its founding, The Seed Company has impacted almost 450 language communities. In addition, since 1999 when "Vision 2025" was first articulated as the goal of seeing a translation started for every language still needing one, they have been involved in more than 50% of the new translation projects within the Wycliffe family of organizations.

The goals of The Seed Company are to start 225 new translation projects and complete 108 translation projects by 2010.
